I think this is a good analogy of anyone dealing with imposter syndrome or self doubt. Anorra’s literal demon shows her all the times she let her anger get the better of her and hurt those around her. However the group of friends she has, both in the game and at the table see through the lies and self doubt to show her that those are small moments compared to the good she has done, both for them and others. Our game groups are our support groups, friends we can turn too when we need to escape from the tedium of every day lives. They help us when we are down on ourselves and help us reflect on the times when things aren’t always bad.
