5th edition warforged do have the advantage of being able to be healed in the standard ways and natural armour. With proficiency in heavy armour you can start with an AC of 18 and end up at 24 AC, all without wearing armour.

I have this idea that Jim doesn’t get British humor, and he has a “swear jar” for Monty Python quotes. I don’t know if I’m going to use it or not.
Better off than Warforged in 5e then, they are only resistant to poison. Still immune to disease though.
Generally if I’m not sure about what should be allowed I look at my 3.5 rule books, but I’m always liable to swap things up.
